Shadow Environment Secretary to visit BedZED

Richard Ottaway, Shadow Environment Secretary and Member of Parliament for Croydon South, will visit the Beddington Zero Energy Development (BedZED). BedSED is the UK's largest carbon neutral eco-village. The award winning development is one of the most coherent examples of sustainable living in the UK.

Located in Wallington, South London, BedZED comprises 100 homes, community facilities and workspace for 100 people. The development incorporates up-to-the-minute thinking on sustainable development into every aspect of the scheme, from energy efficient design to the way the houses are heated.
