OTTAWAY WELCOMES LABOUR MP's COMMENTS ON LIFE IN LONDON

Richard Ottaway, Conservative MP for Croydon South, has welcomed Labour MP's recognition that quality of life in London has degraded since Labour came to power. Geraint Davies, Labour MP for Croydon Central was amongst a number of Labour MPs who spoke during a debate on the Quality of Life in London yesterday.

Richard Ottaway says:-

"I welcome Geraint Davies' recognition that many Londoners are moving because the Capital is too dirty and too dangerous. For once I agree with his comments when he says that street robberies are escalating under Labour. Before the general election last year he denied these problems existed but I am pleasantly surprised that he has now seen the light."

"Perhaps it is time he crossed the floor to Newsletterwhere he will be in a better position to attack this Government"
