Ottaway says survey shows Croydon Council gives poor value for money

Strong support for community use of Purley Council Office

The results of a survey conducted by Richard Ottaway, MP for Croydon South, indicate that many local residents are unhappy with services provided by Croydon Council. See analysis (pdf file) .

Richard Ottaway says:-

"I am very grateful to all my constituents who took the time to complete this survey. By doing so they ensure that I have a clear understanding of their concerns."

"Over 60% of respondents felt that they get less than adequate value for their Council Tax and that the Council is doing nothing to improve the local environment. An overwhelming 86% believe that Purley Council offices should be kept for community use."

"On the eve of the local elections, these survey results send a clear message to the Labour Council - it is time to move aside for a Conservative administration."

Ends.
