Labour at war with Livingstone says Ottaway

Following a debate in Parliament on Transport in London, Richard Ottaway, Conservative MP for Croydon South, today said:-

"Today's debate on Transport in London in Westminster Hall saw opening salvos by Labour MPs against Ken Livingstone. There was a sustained attack on his background, his competence and his appointment of staff, including the appointment of Mr Kiley as London Transport Commissioner. All this came under intense scrutiny and I have no doubt that this will continue right up to the next mayoral election."

"I call on the Labour Party to end this internal warfare - the only losers will be the people of London"

ends.
